Who it is for
For inspectors who already have a working business
Hometrace gives you the import tools and founder support. You stay in charge of validating the result.
Bring your template
Native imports from Spectora exports and Home Inspector Pro bundles.
Bring your contacts
Bulk-import clients and agents, and preview before confirming.
Test before you depend on it
Run a full inspection through report delivery before changing your daily process.
How it works
A safer way to make the switch
Treat migration as a short validation project, and keep your source exports until it checks out.
Export what you can
Save template and contact exports from your current platform.
Import and preview
Upload to the matching importer and inspect the preview before confirming.
Review the details
Check sections, comments, logic, and business settings specific to your workflow.
Run a complete test
Field notes to finished report to recipient view. Then switch for good.
What to know
An import is a starting point, not a blind copy
Platforms store templates and business rules differently. Hometrace tells you what transfers, and what deserves a manual look.
- Custom calculations and platform-specific automations may need to be recreated.
- Photo annotations and other tool-specific behavior deserve a manual review after import.
- Files outside the native formats use the Hometrace CSV format or a support review.
- Keep your source exports until you have verified your template, contacts, and a finished report.
