Connect Claude to Hometrace
Works in Claude.ai, Claude Desktop, and Claude Code. Takes about a minute.
Add a custom connector
Open Settings, then Connectors, then Add custom connector. Paste:
https://www.hometrace.co/api/mcpApprove in Hometrace
Select Connect, sign in to Hometrace, and approve.
Pick an inspection
Ask it to find a job by address or client name, then tell it what to do.
Add the server
Run in a terminal:
claude mcp add --transport http hometrace https://www.hometrace.co/api/mcpSign in
In Claude Code, run /mcp, choose hometrace, then Authenticate.

It asks first
- Sending invitations or changing the clients on a job
- Moving an inspection date

- Publishes or delivers a report
- Sees or changes billing
- Reaches anything you cannot already open

Yes, an active trial or paid plan.
No. The assistant runs on your own Claude or ChatGPT plan.
It cannot publish. Anything that would contact a client tells you who and waits for your yes.
