Developer mode on the web
Turn on Developer mode
In ChatGPT on the web, open Settings, then Security and login. Available on Plus, Pro, Business, Enterprise, and Education.
Create the app
On the Plugins page, select the plus button, choose OAuth, and paste:

Sign in to Hometrace and approve.
Use it in a chat
From the plus menu, choose Developer mode and select Hometrace.
Pick an inspection
Ask it to find a job by address or client name, then tell it what to do.
Same access you already have
It can
- Search inspections and read reports
- Look at and sort photos
- Draft and edit findings and spec answers
- Update job details, services, and pricing
- Edit templates and contacts
It asks first
- Sending invitations or changing the clients on a job
- Moving an inspection date
- Changes that affect a signed agreement or your price
It never
- Publishes or delivers a report
- Sees or changes billing
- Reaches anything you cannot already open

Yes, an active trial or paid plan.
No. The assistant runs on your own Claude or ChatGPT plan.
It cannot publish. Anything that would contact a client tells you who and waits for your yes.
