Your inspection website, built into Hometrace
Hometrace Sites give inspectors a hosted website, public link, booking tools, and custom buttons without another website project.
Most inspectors don't need another website project. They need a clear place where a buyer can learn who they are, see what they inspect, and take the next step.
Hometrace Sites are built for that job. Your site uses the business information you already manage in Hometrace, including your company name, branding, services, service area, team, reviews, sample reports, scheduling rules, and price quote settings. You do not have to rebuild the same information in a separate website tool.
A public site that stays connected to your work
Every published Hometrace Site gets a hosted public link, such as hometrace.co/inspectors/your-company-name. You can share that link from your Google Business Profile, social posts, email signatures, and agent follow-ups. If you already own a domain, you can connect it and use that as the main public address while keeping the Hometrace link available as a fallback.
The site editor also gives you a View Site button. It opens the same public address that buyers will see, so you can check changes in a logged-out window before sharing them.

Add a custom URL, or simply use your unique Hometrace URL to share your site with clients
Give buyers a clear next step
The new Custom buttons tab lets you add links that fit the way your business works. A button can point to an outside scheduling tool, a contact form, a commercial inspection page, a partner service, or any other secure web page.
You choose the label, link, placement, and style for each button. Buttons can appear in the header, the main hero section, or the contact section. You can also decide whether a link opens in a new tab and temporarily hide a button without deleting it.
Keep the labels short and specific. “Book an inspection,” “Request a sewer scope,” or “View commercial services” tells a buyer exactly what happens next. A vague label like “Learn more” makes them work harder.
Built around inspection businesses
Hometrace Sites connect the public website to the rest of the inspection workflow. Saved services can appear on the site. Scheduling rules control booking requests. Automatic pricing can show a quote when the property information is complete. Reviews and sample reports give buyers proof before they book.
The goal is not to turn every inspector into a web designer. It is to give you a professional home for your business that stays connected to the tools you use for actual inspections.
Open Site in your Hometrace dashboard to review your hosted link and add custom buttons. For the full setup, see the “Set Up Your Hometrace Site” article in the Help Center.
