Talk through the house
Say what you’re looking at in your own words.
“Kitchen. Walls are painted drywall, floors are tile, dishwasher is a Bosch and it runs.”
“Add a moderate deficiency, active drip at the sink supply line.”
Inspect with me walks a section field by field while you talk. Specs and findings fill in as you go. When a note from your comment library fits, it uses your wording instead of inventing new.
Hand it the inspection photo album
Already shot the house? Tap Analyze All on your photos. Hometrace files the photos into the report and drafts findings from what’s actually in the images, data plates included. You approve, edit, or reject each one.
Ask what’s left
Tap "Check what’s left" and it points out blank specs and unfinished sections. Then start Final Checks for spelling, tone, and contradictions. The same review you already run, started from the conversation.
You stay in control of the report
Hometrace Agent can write into the report. It cannot publish or send it. You review the edits and decide what stays. If it can’t finish a request, it says so instead of guessing.
Voice and photo analysis need a connection. The rest of the app still works in a crawlspace, so talk when you have signal or type later from the truck.
Try it on your next job
On mobile, tap Ask Hometrace in the inspection footer. Press and hold for voice while the report stays on screen.
On web, open Ask Hometrace in the nav or press Command-K. The panel docks beside your report.
Sam still inspects with it every week, so if a reply feels off, tell us and we’ll tighten it.
