Learn how to add and organize your home's appliances in Hometrace.

Setting Up Appliances

After adding your property, you can start tracking individual appliances and systems. Each appliance can have its own make, model, and maintenance tasks.

Adding an Appliance

  1. Navigate to your property's Dashboard.
  2. Click Add Appliance.
  3. Choose an appliance type (HVAC system, water heater, etc.).
  4. Enter details such as make, model, serial number, and installation date.
  5. Specify the appliance's location and efficiency rating if known.
  6. Save the appliance to start tracking its maintenance tasks.

Managing Tasks

  • Each appliance comes with recommended tasks.
  • You can mark tasks as complete or reschedule them.
  • View the maintenance history to track past service events.
